This is an impressionistic view of Lake Toxaway in Cashiers, NC. It’s based on a photo I took when I was there. And it’s a larger version of my “Fall in Cashiers” painting. However, the skies at the time were more gray and cold. I wanted to give this painting a more colorful sky that had a little more warmth to it. It’s so easy to believe what our eyes tell us - that the sky is blue or gray. But, really, there’s an entire rainbow of color up there if you just look for it. This painting comes framed in a gorgeous brushed bronze floater frame and ready to hang. Hope you enjoy looking at it as much as I enjoyed painting it!
